All about the Expo!

The Charlotte Observer and its special publication, CLT Boomer, are proud to present the CLT Boomer Expo! This free event caters to Charlotteans ages 50+ and will feature speakers, vendors, live music, brewery tours, and more. Here’s everything you need to know:

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7

Where: Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 4150 Yancey Road, nestled right between I-77 and South Boulevard, with nearby cross streets of Woodlawn and Scaleybark

Who: This Expo is open to all, but caters to those 50+

Parking: There are several options: Directly behind the brewery, two blocks down on Yancey or over at the Scaleybark light rail stop, where you can catch a shuttle for the 800-yard ride to the brewery

Light rail: OMB is just a five-minute walk from the Scaleybark light rail stop. Just walk south from Scaleybark stop and take a right on Old Pineville Road. Continue to Yancey Road and take a right. We’re just down on the right side at 4150 Yancey Road
